The CDE 5 Day Course is presented by the CDE Faculty , that includes endocrinologists, specialist physicians, biokineticists, dieticians, podiatrists, diabetes specialist nurses and a clinical psychologist.

Terms & Conditions of Applications

  • 5-Day Advanced Course in Diabetes fees are charged per person and are inclusive of VAT. The fees include lunches, teas and free, secure parking.
  • Certified halaal and kosher meals are available on request. Surcharges (over and above your registration fee) apply and these are itemised on the registration form.
  • Should you be sponsored by a company please provide us with a PO for the number of people being supported together with their names.
  • All costs pertaining to flights, accommodation, transport etc. are for the participants' account and are not included in the course fee.
  • Delegates must arrange their own accommodation if applicable.
  • Places for each course are limited and are allocated strictly on a “First Come, First Served” basis (NO ‘pre-bookings’ or ‘reservations’ are entertained). To secure a place in the course of your choice, early application is recommended.
  • Early registration fee is applicable up until a month before the course commences. Thus in the case of the May course, any registrations received after the 14 April 2017 will be charged a late registration fee and in the case of the October/November course, any registrations received after the 29 September 2017 will be charged a late registration fee.
  • Allocation of a place on a course of choice is subject to ALL of the following:
    • Completed registration for the course;
    • Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions
    • Confirmation from the CDE that you are registered for the course
  • An administration fee of 10 % of the total due will be levied for requests to change to a later course, if made less than 30 days prior to the commencement of a course.
  • All cancellations must be sent by signed fax to 086 2470674 or by E-mail to ShelleyH@cdediabetes.co.za or JohnB@cdediabetes.co.za.
    • NO refunds or credits will be given to delegates who cancel within 20 days of a course commencing or who do not show for part or all of a course;
    • Replacements will be accepted.

KOSHER COSTS: R400 PER DAY PER PERSON (R2000 for the COURSE)
HALAAL COSTS: R350 PER DAY PER PERSON (R1750 for the COURSE)

Flight Arrangements:

The Course will run from 08h30 to 17h00, except Wednesday and Thursday. Please ensure that you book your return flights (if applicable) from 18h30 onwards (19h30 onwards for international flights). This will give you enough time to complete the Course and get to OR Tambo International Airport on time.

We would appreciate your assistance in this regard, as it is extremely disruptive to have participants asking to write their final test earlier so that they can catch an early flight. In fact, this will not be allowed. If you choose to leave early and miss the final written test, you will forfeit your Official Course completion certificate.
